Unless otherwise noted, all Rubin Observatory images and videos are copyright protected on behalf of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory and licensed for use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. As such they may, on a non-exclusive basis, be reproduced without fee for any purpose without prior permission in accordance with the following conditions:

• By electing to download the material from this website the user agrees to use a credit line in connection with images. Unless otherwise noted in the caption information for an image, the credit line should be "Rubin Obs/NSF/AURA".
• The endorsement of any product or service by Rubin Observatory must not be claimed or implied.
• Rubin Observatory disclaims any and all liability arising from the use of Rubin Observatory images or video. The user shall hold Rubin Observatory harmless against any and all such claims.
• Prior written approval must be obtained to use the Rubin Observatory logo. Requests to use the Rubin Observatory logo may be directed to images@lsst.org
• If an image includes an identifiable person, using the image for commercial purposes may infringe that person's right of privacy or publicity, and permission should be obtained from the person.
